The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, (Pre Regulation 12)

The draft Provision of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) has been prepared to support the Climate Emergency Review of the Local Plan, in particular policy DM62 of the Development Management DPD (Part Two). More detail on this can be viewed here. It provides further guidance as to how to implement the electric vehicle charging requirements of this policy, within the context of national and local policy, and how they should be delivered on the ground, setting out a series of key design principles and considerations.
