Active LancashireLancaster DistrictThe CSI Programme has been running very successfully now for 7 years across Lancashire. It is a bespoke behaviour change programme for people who need to build up their resilience to substance misuse. This includes working with ex-offenders, those with Mental Health issues (especially Dual Diagnosis), gambling addictions and just as importantly their friends & families too. Our key focus is to engage and mentor those people who are often in poor mental and physical health into physical activity and sport to improve their long-term health and economic lifestyles.Email:

Lancaster Mens HubLancasterA local charity created to support men of all ages in the Lancaster area with their physical and mental health through a wide variety of activities. Our goal can be summed up in three words : 'wellbeing through doing'.

Our focus is the wellbeing of men, but both women and men are welcome in LMH.

We are a not-for-profit group who offer peer support to families who have been through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, compassionate induction/termination of pregnancy, stillbirth, neonatal, infant and child loss.

We will be holding a range of group events and activities available to parents, siblings, grandparents and the wider extended family. All of our groups and activities are free of charge and accessible to all.

Places for People deliver the Building Better Opportunities programme, supporting unemployed people in Lancashire to find work or upskill. Our keyworkers provide one-to-one support to build confidence, then offer practical help in finding employment or training.

This support is confidential, completely free of charge and does not affect benefits.

  • Age of Opportunity is a project designed specifically to help people over 50 yrs of age in Lancashire, who would like to work but are unable to without additional skills or support.
  • The Invest in Youth project supports young people who are aged 15–24 in Lancashire and who are not in employment, education or training.

The Dukes is a catalyst for communities, individuals and artists to develop their own creativity and practice. It is a place of cultural leadership and imaginative conversation. We run inclusive year-round programmes for our communities to engage with excellent art and culture. Our dynamic Young Company sees around 100 young people from all backgrounds engage in weekly drama workshops and each group gets a chance to regularly perform on one of our stages.

The Bay is a Nature and Wellbeing Programme, offering people living in Morecambe Bay the opportunity to get outdoors and connect with nature. Taking part in activities such as beach cleans, nature walks and rock pooling, as well as having opportunities to learn new skills, participants will connect with the wonderful nature of the Bay, as well as connecting with other people, and helping with their wellbeing.
