Lancaster City Council is consulting on the Halton-with-Aughton Neighbourhood Development Plan (2024-2031) for seven weeks from Monday 10 March 2025 to 12 noon Monday 28 April 2025.
Halton-with-Aughton Parish Council has previously consulted on their plan, however, this final consultation will be led by the city council, as outlined in Regulation 16 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2015.
How to make a representation:

Please note: Responses should make clear whether they wish to remain informed over future decisions of the Neighbourhood Plan in accordance with Regulation 16 (iv) of the 2012 Regulations. The deadline for representations is 12 noon Monday 28 April 2025.
The Halton-with-Aughton Neighbourhood Plan sets out the planning framework about how Halton-with-Aughton residents and businesses would like the parish to development up to 2031. Please do not submit any information or evidence which you do not wish to be made public. The council cannot accept any anonymous responses nor responses which, for whatever reason, are illegible.
What Next?
Following the end of the consultation, the neighbourhood plan documents and representations will be submitted for examination by an independent planning examiner, who will determine if the plan meets certain criteria requirements and standards.
