Public Participation - We are now consulting for an 8 week period from Friday 17 June to Friday 12 August 2022

The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, (Pre Regulation 12)

The green and blue infrastructure policies within the Climate Emergency Review of the Local Plan (submitted to the Secretary of State for Examination, more detail on this can be viewed here) have been amended to improve how they address the incorporation of Green and Blue Infrastructure (GBI) into the design of development in the Lancaster District.

The draft Incorporating Green and Blue Infrastructure (GBI) into the Design of Development SPD provides advice in support of a number of GBI related policies, particularly CC1, DM29, DM43, DM44, DM57, SP8, SC4, DM27, DM30c, DM34 and DM45.

Before responding to the consultation

Please note: We are asking for comments on the detail of the draft SPD. We will address comments by making amendments to the SPD where necessary or where we do not make changes, we will explain the reasoning within a consultation statement at the next consultation stage.
