Overview
Lancaster City Council has published the Climate Emergency Review of the Strategic Policies & Land Allocation Development Plan Document (DPD), and the Climate Emergency Review of the Development Management DPDfor six weeks consultation (31 January 2022 to 12 noon on 14 March 2022) before it is submitted to the Secretary of State for examination.
This is an opportunity for you to make representations on whether the DPDs are legally compliant (i.e. do they meet the relevant requirements of national planning legislation) and whether the DPDs are 'sound' (i.e. do they meet the relevant requirements of national planning policy).

CLOSED: CONSULTATION NOW CLOSED
The Council is preparing to submit the Draft Plan, all associated documents and evidence base to the Planning Inspectorate end of March 2022. As part of this preparation, all representations received at the Regulation 19 stage will be digitalised and will be available to view soon. More details to follow.
