Consultation has concluded
The Council Housing service is reviewing our 2020 Allocation Policy.
We are required to provide a policy on how we allocate residential accommodation from our own stock and from Private Registered Providers of Social Housing, whom we work in partnership with.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has published guidance, regarding the allocation of accommodation, for local housing authorities in England, which is attached.
Please consider the current, 2020 Allocation Policy, which is also attached, and use the survey link below to provide your response to the proposed amendments to the policy.
This is the stage one of the consultation process, where we let you know the proposed amendments to the current policy. Once we have considered your feedback, we will then draft our new, updated policy and send it to you, by 2nd December 2024, for any further feedback (stage two of the consultation process).
