Caton-with-Littledale Neighbourhood Plan Consultation

Lancaster City Council is consulting on the Caton-with-Littledale Neighbourhood Plan for seven weeks, from Thursday 18 November 2021 to Thursday 6 January 2022.

Once this has ended, Lancaster City Council will submit the plan and all associated comments to an independent planning inspector / examiner, who will determine if the plan meets certain requirements and standards.  

Caton-with-Littledale Parish Council has previously consulted on their plan, however, this final consultation will be led by the City Council, as outlined in Regulation 16 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2015.

The Caton-with-Littledale Neighbourhood Plan sets out the planning framework about how Caton-with-Littledale residents and businesses would like the parish to development over the next 10 years up to 2031. How to make a representation:

  • Complete the Online Response Form, link below.

  • Email planningpolicy@lancaster.gov.uk or

  • Write to Lancaster City Council, Planning and Housing Policy Team, Lancaster Town Hall, Lancaster, Dalton Square LA1 1PJ.

Please note: Responses should make clear whether they wish to remain informed over future decisions of the Neighbourhood Plan in accordance with Regulation 16 (iv) of the 2012 Regulations.  The deadline for representations is Thursday 6 January 2022.

What Next?

Following the end of the consultation, the neighbourhood plan documents and all representations will be submitted for examination by an independent planning inspector, who will determine if the plan meets certain criteria requirements and standards.
