Community Safety (Housing): consultation on new approach

The Council Housing service has developed a new approach to Community Safety across the district: creating a 'harm centred' approach to responding to reports of nuisance and anti-social behaviour experienced by residents, and re-affirming the commitment to working with communities to build stronger, safer neighbourhoods.

The service will support and promote community safety in relation to council homes and surrounding communites.

We would like your thoughts and comments on the new approach and the policies which underpin it. The attached documents set out why the new Community Safety Team has been created, how this is different to the previous approach in this area, and how the new team will work.
