Aldcliffe with Stodday Neighbourhood Plan Consultation

THIS CONSULTATION HAS NOW CONCLUDED AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED

This neighbourhood plan comes into force as part of the statutory development plan now it has been approved at referendum 21 July 2022.

Lancaster City Council consulted on the Aldcliffe with Stodday Neighbourhood Plan for six weeks, from Friday 15 October 2021 to Friday 26 November 2021.

Lancaster City Council will submit the plan and all associated comments to an independent planning inspector, who will determine if the plan meets certain requirements and standards.  

Aldcliffe with Stodday Parish Council has previously consulted on their plan, however, this final consultation will be led by the City Council, as outlined in Regulation 16 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2015.

The Aldcliffe with Stodday Neighbourhood Plan sets out the planning framework about how Aldcliffe with Stodday residents and businesses would like the parish to development over the next 10 years up to 2031. Paper copies of the plan can be viewed at Morecambe Town Hall (on request).

What Next?

Following the end of the consultation, the neighbourhood plan documents and all representations will be submitted for examination by an independent planning inspector, who will determine if the plan meets certain criteria requirements and standards.
