Consultation has closed. Responses are now being considered
This consultation concerns the draft Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) for the City of Lancaster Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) which covers most of the Lancaster city centre gyratory system (see map). The AQMA was declared in 2004 for exceedances in the nitrogen dioxide (NO2) annual mean, and amended in 2017 to include exceedances in the hourly mean NO2 objective. The measures in the Air Quality Action Plan have been proposed as actions that will contribute to the reduction in NO2 air pollution in the Lancaster AQMA in line with national objective levels. Your feedback on this draft AQAP is valued and will be taking into consideration within the final version of the action plan and the future air quality strategy.
It is recommended you view the draft Air Quality Action Plan and map of the City of Lancaster Air Quality Management Area in the widget section (to the right) before answering the survey.
This consultation will be open until 8th December 2024.
